mad respect for this reporter.
holy shit, did i just gain some respect for fox news?
This lady is fucking insane. I have a lot of respect for the reporter for willingly arguing and even quoting scripture against this dipshit. It’s people like this insane lady and all her fucked up followers that make people think Christians are insane. It’s people like them that don’t even understand that God is love. I don’t give a fuck what she says, that lady isn’t part of a religion; she’s part of a cult.
And it’s people like the reporter that make me a little less ashamed to be part of a country as fucked up as America. To stand up for the rights of millions of people against some idiotic creep that was asked to be interviewed on national television in front of a massive audience and probably knowing the possibility of things being taken too far and her possibly losing her job, now that takes courage. I respect her with every fiber of my being. That’s the kind of pride that Americans need to have. Not even just Americans, all of us.
“Mam, I think it’s disgusting that you even use that word.” - in response to the use of ‘fag’. And it was at this moment that I gained total and utter respect for this reporter.
Usually I don’t like Fox News. Right now, and possibly only now, do I have respect for their station and this particular reporter. The Westboro Baptist Church needs to either wake up and accept their neighbors or get taken down.
God would never hate
his own creation.forever reblog. fucking love this reporter.
This reporter is amazing, like, can she be my lawyer? <3
MAD RESPECT RIGHT HERE BRO
This made me smile and remember, “why do people live by the bible”
this reporter is my motherfucking hero.
fromme-toyou asked: oh great entry! I'm looking that up right now!
thanks!
l got it for a dollar at my local library sale years ago and it finally popped up on my to-read list. It was a fun and fast read and it really opened my eyes to how small the company was when it first started out. I’ve always have taken for granted that Ben&Jerry’s has been a premium ice cream mastermind since the beginning of time! :D
happy hunting!

“Good morning. Looking over your resume and the programs you listed, we are pretty much at a wall in terms of finding you an officer position at this time. So what we can do is either wait it out until boards open up, which could be in 3 months or could be in 2013, that one we’re not sure of, or you could enlist right now and apply for officer programs with having Navy experience also on your resume. Let me know which option sounds better for you and we can move forward. I look forward to hearing from you.”
good thing l have a year of school left. Thought about it and researched calc+physics+nuclear sciences. shocker, they hold no interest for me at all. I am in awe of people who can do this kind of stuff and l know it’s not for me. let’s see if l can set something up for the 2012 year…
guess who has a sick obsession with seahorses?
stalecupcakes asked: oh liz. i can't stay mad at you. no matter how many XD's you throw my way. <3
well then obviously l’m not trying hard enough! :D
With a tip from Casey l walked over to NOAA across the street. Turns out that there was a captain retiring after serving for 34 years. This was the ceremony to hand over command.
the reason why i’m giving this away is because i got two, one of which i am using, the other one hasn’t even been opened.

Had a Navy Recruiter from Boston call me today (l’m currently work in Woods Hole, MA) and we talked about what I would like to do. As of right now I feel like l would be best suited for: Photography, News/Media, or Navy Diver. He told me that everything was full for the fiscal year and there would be no way to get everything squared away by August 22 when new set of recruits start PT. I told him that l’m still in school for another year (it’s like he didn’t read my emailed resume…shocker). He seemed relieved by that. He said that l should take a year of calc+phys because “w/ your GPA you’re really competitive and if you do those two you would be a shoe-in for our nuclear program.” I must have let it known over the phone that wasn’t my cup of tea (flash back: summer 2009, sobbing over algebra for mgt. sciences homework and probably having nightmares about not understanding concepts). He encouraged me to apply to my desired fields anyway because “you never know when something may open up.”
Just spent the last 2 hours researching Calc. I’ve never taken anything calc related before. Definitely doesn’t look like 1.) I could pull it off 2.) l could stay motivated
physics l’ve done in HS, l enjoyed the practicality of it all and the labs that we conducted.
::super sigh::
